"I have come so that you might have life and have it more abundantly"
We are a group of believers who have come from a wide variety of backgrounds but who all have one thing in common and that is that we have taken God at His word and trusted in His Son, Jesus Christ, as our saviour. We are ordinary folk who have had an extraordinary experience and it is this that we celebrate when we meet together.
In a day and age when life can be quite a challenge, we believe that a relationship with God can provide a very real peace in perplexing times, a very real sense of encouragement in discouraging times, and a very real hope in hopeless times. Jesus said, "I have come so that you might have life and have it more abundantly" and we would invite you to join with us so that together we might enjoy this abundant life.

As a church we aim to encourage:
ACTIVE BELIEF & TRUSTWe believe that Jesus is God's loving provision to save us from the deadly consequences of our disobedience against Him and that it is utterly essential to seek forgiveness for our sins through faith in Jesus if we are to escape the coming judgement.
John 3:16 ~ For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. A SENSE OF BELONGINGWe believe that it is immensely important that believers belong to a local church; to a community of believers where they can be actively involved in the work of God. The Bible likens that community to a body which has Christ as its Head and in which the various members seek to support, love & encourage each other.
Ephesians 4:16 ~ From Christ the whole body grows and builds itself up in love as each part does its work. SPIRITUAL GROWTHOur aim is to nurture and encourage a faith that is deeply rooted in the Word of God and the experience of the Holy Spirit. To encourage a faith that weathers the storms of life and bears fruit for the glory of God.
2 Peter 3:18 ~ Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever. Amen. |
